Todd and Julie Chrisley finally reunited, but their union wasn’t a simple one.

From January 2023 to May 2025, the celebrity couple was in jail on fraud charges.

a new podcast, they recounted how they couldn’t even speak to each other for over two years.

Julie says, “Emails would come, but it would take 2-3 days… We never even called.”

Taking Care of the Kids Was Difficult

Taking care of the kids was the most demanding time for the famous couple from the show “Chrisley Knows Best.” Julie says, “We used to parent together.

It was so hard to make decisions alone.” Todd had access to a phone, but Julie could only talk to someone for 10 minutes a day, making it very difficult to decide which child needed more attention today.

Todd’s Emotional Support

But Todd didn’t give up. He relied on his own memories for support.

“First date, first kiss—I remember everything,” Todd says.

Another deeply emotional moment was when their daughter, Savannah, brought a magazine containing a sample of Julie’s perfume.

Todd pinned it to his pillow so he could smell her every night.

She was his ‘Person’

Julie’s most intense time was being away from Todd.

She says, “He was my ‘person.’ Happy or sad, birthday or festival—I missed him every moment.”

Both said that their 30-year marriage was their greatest strength.

Todd said that it was their faith that kept them going through the storm.

Today, after President Trump’s ban, the couple is free and starting a new with each other.
