Tracker Season 3 Character's unexpected exit

Tracker Season 3

Hello friends! Today, I’m going to share some sad news for fans of “Tracker.” Yes, two beloved characters have said goodbye in the third season of this hit CBS show!

Let’s find out what happened and how the show bid these characters farewell.

Favorite Characters Suddenly Disappear

Sometimes, beloved characters suddenly disappear from our favorite shows, and that’s exactly what happened with “Tracker.”

In the first episode of Season 3, which aired on October 19th, viewers learned that Velma, played by Abby McEnany, and Bobby, played by Eric Graise, would no longer be part of the show.

When I saw this, I thought, “Oh! This happened so suddenly.” You must have felt the same, right?

How the Show Explained

The interesting thing is that the show explained the reason for these characters’ departures in a very creative way.

In one scene, Reenie (played by Fiona Rene) told Randy (Chris Lee) that she didn’t know where Velma was.

She explained that Velma had gone to her wife, Teddi (Robin Weigert), to save their marriage.

Reenie then changed the subject, saying, “I have to look at a lot of resumes this week.” This hinted at the possibility of new people joining the team!

Bobby was also mentioned via text message. Randy explained that his cousin had become an encryption specialist at a new startup, and “between stock options and salary, he’s making a good living.”
Hmm… Looks like both characters got a good send-off, what do you think?

What is ‘Tracker’ all about?

If you haven’t watched ‘Tracker,’ the show revolves around Justin Hartley’s character, Colter Shaw, who is a “rewardist.”

He uses his survival and tracking skills to find missing people for whom a bounty is being offered.

I think the concept is quite interesting, isn’t it? A man who finds people, but only for the reward!

What’s next?

Based on Jeffery Deaver’s novel ‘The Never Game,’ the show was renewed for Season 3 in February. Justin Hartley wrote in an Instagram post, “Thank you all for watching.

Thanks to #trackerbackers, we’ll be able to make more episodes of @trackercbs. Let’s get started!!”

Jensen Ackles also appears in this season as Colter’s estranged brother, Russell. Justin told PEOPLE in October 2024, “Jensen is the perfect person to play Russell.

He’s a well-developed character in the book, and even more so than what we’ve done on the show.”

“Tracker” airs every Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS, and episodes stream the next day on Paramount+. All episodes of “Tracker” seasons 1 and 2 can be found on Paramount+.
