Thankfully, Parkwood Entertainment gave the Beyoncé fans who found the track a little context as to why it was dropped so suddenly. In a rep statement, the label explained that “Morning Dew” is actually a “special gift to her fans.” Essentially a love letter to the BeyHive.

After all, they have stuck by her side throughout her music and entertainment career, so this much-awaited surprise is the perfect gesture to thank them for their never-ending support.

It feels like yesterday (or was it last week?) when we were all frantically shopping for bedazzled cowboy hats and fringe boots. It was the era of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album, released earlier this year in March 2024.
